Personally, I would use the gold for the green and black as the border....if you have enough fabric.

personally, I think I would go with black for both, I think both colors take away from the stars and the outer border.

My opinion? I think those six squares are strange in that quilt. Could you make them into another star block? Maybe just a really small star. And I would keep them the same colors as the other blocks. My opinion!

Blue is my favorite color, but the green seems to complement your patchwork better.

The blue/purple won out. The borders are the blue/purple as well. I know this won’t float everyone’s boat, but my Mystery Quilt for the guild challenge is almost complete. The focus fabric was the border fabric. Hard to pick fabric when you don’t know what the quilt is going to look like.
