Another gorgeous quilt! You are right, the teal really makes the quilt. Every quilt needs a zinger color with the exception of an all neutral quilt.

Oh how lovely...to both quilts. Thanks for sharing.

I've been sewing light and darks of 1.5 x 2.5 pieces together...not sure what will come of them. I use them as leaders and enders. Haven't counted how many pairs I've got sewn together..

Thanks, maryb119. I do have 1.5" strips in my scrap cutting system so I'll keep this one on the 'to do' list.

Both quilts may be scrappy, but they are so beautifully coordinated. The center is lovely, but the border is what ties everything together and makes the project look complete. Two great interpretations of the same pattern.

    Default Awesome scrap quilt!

I am in awe of your beautiful quilt! I do love the pop of teal colors you added. I also like the quilt done in fall colors as shown by another member's post. Thank you for sharing the photo as it is inspiring for me to try my first scrap quilt.

What a great quilt. Have to tell you that you made me laugh when you told us it was all from scraps, and when you were done, you still couldn't get the cover on the scrap container! They just don't quit multiplying, do they?

Outstanding quilt. I am always surprised by how beautiful scrappy quilts are and how they can just knock our socks off!
