Sorry, I have no goals except to continue working on what I have in my UFO bin until I can get a larger sewing room. I work on a as needed basis. However, I do have a no new project policy no matter how tempting.

I actually completed my goal for this year, which was to use scraps and what I had purchased in the past. I plan to continue that goal for 2020 and use what I have, hopefully not buy anymore except for backings. Need to get grandson's graduation quilt finished for 2021 and decide granddaughter's pattern & fabric choices also for 2021. Should be a busy year in my sewing room! Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

My goals for 2019 changed. Some got less and some got more. I'm pleased with what I accomplished. I learned that I work in groups, doing the same steps.

For 2020:
1. Keep kitting maybe 20 more for Comfort Quilts
2. Kit the fabrics on the table of my LA
3. LA the ~ 10 top/bottom combos made in 2019
4. Keep purging.

I also make goals and post them on my fridge door. I choose a word that I hope will inspire me for the year as well. Encouragement, Good Wishes to Other etc. Here's what it looks like on NYD. Completion was my word for both 2018-19, as I had way to many UFO's around here. Not sure what my word for 2020 will be. I've behaved somewhat... and the UFO's are actually in a manageable state of being.
Resolutions were never my thing either.

I sadly will have 8 UFO to put on my list and at least 5 have been on my list since 2017 when I started listing 12 goals for the year ...but the first thing I plan to do ...check my notions..items and location and write then down in a notebook so I do not have to spent time looking here and there when I can not Remember where or actually if I have the special item I need at the moment. All in all I plan to enjoy another year of making special things for special people in our lives.
best wishes to all for a happy and healthy 2020

My goals this year, I知 going to organize by quarter:

Jan/Feb/March
1. Start and finish new grandlamb痴 quilt before he痴 born (due 2/28).
Ooooh, he could very easily be a "leap" baby! My first two babies were born bang on their due dates (no inductions.) And my third baby was born the day after her due date.

My 2020 goal is to finish 8 UFO's and only buy fabric when it's needed, as in border fabric or backing.

My 2019 goals were to finish five quilts and join in a BOOM swap here on the QB. I can check the BOOM swap off my list, but I still have to finish quilting my last of the five quilts.

My goals for 2020 are:

- to be a bit selfish and not work to deadlines that either I or anyone else make for me. (Too much of that this year.)
- to teach a class at my LQS...I chickened out in 2019
- to start (and finish) a collage that has been on my design wall for months and I have been reluctant to begin it because I think I'm going to mess it up. (It's only fabric....)
- to get more involved with my quilt guild
- to use up my stash as much as possible, including making it into strings when it gets down to scraps on the shelf.
- to keep my sewing room in some semblance of order

I try to keep my annual goals simple - just one or two. Otherwise, I just forget or ignore them. For example, one year it was to use more orange, and I did. Now I like it.

I do keep a list of UFOs and try to work on them through the year, although I do add to the list also. This year, I plan to make smaller pieces - table runners, table mats, etc. - and give some to my 97 year old mother. She is so sweet that people give her gifts. Then she feels she has to reciprocate, and that causes some stress. I'd like to give her a batch of things to choose from.

My goals for this year:

1. finish 1 UFO each month
2. learn how to use EQ8
3. work on some more collaborative pieces
4. continue to improve my quilting skills
