    My husband was a marine during the Vietnam war. He guarded the embassy in Saigon. I made this QOV for him...

    That's a beautiful quilt SBG! And thank your DH for his service. My DH was in the Army during that time, and he finally bought a cap that says something about being a Vietnam Vet, and now he gets thanks quite a lot. It means the world to him.

    One of the nices QOVs I’ve seen...delightful fabric selection and great layout. I’m sure he is appreciative of your thoughtful gift and talent and he deserves something as nice to commemorate his service.
