Default Comfort quilt with help from my friends!

I finished this comfort quilt and it was delivered today. I was gifted the center applique block as an orphan and made the borders and backing from my stash.
I can't tell you all how grateful I am to be gifted scraps and orphan blocks so I am able to carry on my mission of making comfort quilts for those in need. That said, I am also sorry I am not able to keep all the things I receive separated into groups so I can tell you who sent me each thing I use. I hope the one that sent me this applique block sees this and knows I put it to good use.
After I get a box of scraps and blocks, they all go into my system and get mixed together. I also have a poor memory for details due to fibro fog. I have long since given up trying to label and remember who gave me what, but that doesn't one bit minimize the gratitude I feel for all of you who help me. Hugs and smiles!!!

Your comfort quilt is lovely. Please don't feel bad about not remembering where the various pieces came from. When I send people scraps, selvage edges, etc it is good for me to know someone may use them since I know I will not.

That’s a fabulous quilt and sure to bring comfort. Echoing the above comment. Don’t worry about the sources. You are making beautiful quilts for others.

Beautiful work of love. It’s a rare thing to remember the source of scraps but you’re right—that doesn’t diminish the gratitude. Thank you for the kindness you show with every comfort quilt.
