Default 60 degree diamond vs MSQC Rhombus template

Is there a difference in a 'typical' 60 degree ruler and what MSQC calls a Rhombus template?
I love the quilts from Jaybird Quilts but wonder which ruler is the best investment. Opinions? Thanks!

Do you have any pictures of quilts you made?

If I didn’t already have a 60 degree ruler I’d probably get the Jaybird one. Looks like you could do a lot with that one.

Default Mini Diamond Ruler by CG

I recently used my Creative Grids 60 degree mini diamond ruler for the 1st time. I loved making this diamond quilt as the blunt corners made this a breeze to assemble and the points (nearly) perfect! This version of the ruler is 4 1/2" and I like the 'scale' of the diamonds for this large batik throw/lap quilt. If I were to make a larger quilt or wanted a more bold look I'd likely want the larger ruler.

when I try to put them together into rows- the row starts sliiiiiiiding downhill. Friend said its because I'm not adjusting for the seam allowance. But I though you just stacked directly on top of previous to match edges. Ive had 2 goes with practice scrap.
