Patriotic wall hangings
I said to DH about two months ago, I wish I could take a few weeks vacation, that is all I would need to get caught up. I have had multiple projects lined up (both in my head and purchased) and kitted or prepped, and I have been plugging away on them. But as we all know, life gets in the way, or the mojo is low after a long day at work, then low and behold, our country comes to a grinding hault (almost), so I have been blessed with some extra time. I have come to realize that when things in the world are beyond my control, I find peace and solitude at my sewing machine. Which means the projects just fly right off the machine.

Awesome wall quilts and so very needed at this time of uncertainty. In the end all we have to hang onto is our faith, our family and our country, and together these 3 will always see us through.

Very nice. Can you explain how you backed them for hanging? I have some small suitable pieces but have not done anything about hanging. I expect there are a variety of methods.

Nicely done and so relaxing to be able to sew and quilt during these strange times. I just know you are loving getting so much done. Keep up the beautiful work.

You need only a couple weeks to catch up..........bravo! I need about 8 yrs.! LOL All great wall hangings by the way.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. My DH is a woodworker and loves the outdoors so living in the country is perfect for him. We both hope to ride our bikes when the weather cooperates but rain is predicted for the next couple days......again.
We can walk or ride miles and see no one, not even a car, so life is good. So glad we both have hobbies though and hope the others find new interests within their home. Our dogs are thrilled we are home every day again, as we have been gone the last 3 our of 4 weeks, home finally on the 19th from our sons in VA, the grands who were home from school since the 13th.
