Cleaning out my father's house
I'm in the process of cleaning it my father's house after he passed away. I remembered he had a leather sewing machine, but I figured he got rid of it. Lo and behold, I found it today.
Looking on this form, it is a Politype, in good shape after it is dusted off.
Any info on selling this would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the fun. The only plitypes I knw are cobbler patching machines.
Similar to the Bradbury below. . Prices vary greatly. Condition , accessories, dos it have all it's pieces?. Will it operate and location all make a big difference. Finding a buyer may be a real trick on a beastie like that. You certainly won't want to have to ship it.

Last summer there was an auction of leather sewing machines & tools in our area. I’m talking a lot of stuff & a group of Amish came to help get it ready. I understand the deceased man had many dealings with them so his daughter hired them since they were knowledgeable. Amish also traveled here to buy.
