Default Removing fusible backing paper

I don't use a lot of fusible, like for applique where one has to remove the paper backing. But I've fussed with getting that backing off when I have used it. So, where has this idea been all my life?!!!

I have had good luck just scoring the center of the paper with a pin but this is a good tip!

This looks like a great idea - now if I can only remember it when I need to use it! I don't do much applique...

Another paper scorer here, but I can see this would be helpful.

Great tip!

We were taught in applique class to lift the fabric off of the paper backing. For some reason, it separates easier. Our instructor would also help us with removing the papers. LOL.
