I am still working on step #7. I got distracted this weekend working on another project. My quilting seems to go through phases with each project. 1. there is the initial excitement with planning and fabric choosing. 2. Beginning piecing which is fun at firs,t but then gets repetitive or boring. This is often when a new project starts getting planned. But at some point I get around to 3. piecing is complete enough where parts start coming together quickly and progress is more evident. 4. this is the "i don't want to buy batting" phase. But when I conquer that, 5. starts out exciting with quilting but may be slow again to get bound.
well, this weekend's project hit #3 and I did want to lose the momentum!

The Birthday packages went out in the mail this morning. Fingers crossed that they arrive on time. Where does the time go? It was July 4th and then ! it was July 16.
Enjoy your time away, Barb, and I will watch for the next set of addresses. Let's see... it is another two for August if my chart is correct! I have been working on another quilt from my scraps and of course it has lots of 2.5's! Maybe pictures over the week-end.

Just checking in! I haven't been working on my master quilt at all..... it's been a really crazy couple of weeks here. Plus it's been so hot I barely want to move. I thought moving to South Dakota I would be away from the oppressive heat.... that is not the case!
My birthday candies went out in the mail yesterday so hopefully they will get to the birthday girls in plenty of time!
