Thank you July secret pal! I got another surprise in the mail some time ago. A nifty orange roasting insert for my instant pot. Can't wait to try it! My appologies for taking so long to post that the insert arrived. So much is going on in our life as a family that I am feeling really overwhelmed. All is OK but too many changes all at once on top of the coronavirus. Many more changes for our family coming up. I also found out that 2 of my adult children and their families, 5 grand babies, that live in this area are all moving to the other side of the US. I cried so hard. Trying times.

A huge thank you to gaijin for my fantastic parcel. It has some lovely bright batiks, my favourite designer Tula Pink and some gorgeous cherry blossom fabric from Japan. As I make bags she also included several sets of bag handles, a bag pattern and a fascinating Japanese magazine on bags. I feel very lucky.
For my secret pal, the thing I was waiting for has finally arrived so I will make up your package and get it out just in time - phew!

I found out who my secret pal was, Kathy. Thank you! I received a wonderful and fun Scrap quilt book in the mail by Lisa Alexander. Not only are there patterns for some of the most amazing scrap quilts but the writing accompanying it is so interesting I just can't put it down. It is perfect for me. Thank you Kathy for being a wonderful secret pal to me.
