Unhappy Turn off "twin needle" setting on my Pfaff Exp 2

Help! Don't know how it got set for "twin needles"! Something I doubt I will ever use. I have looked throught the manual front to back, I have tried to look up on the internet, So far, nothing! At least it does sew with the single needle if I ignore the twin setting "notice". But if anyone can help me to turn it off,I would greatlt appreciate it!
Thanks, friends. Be safe and love each other!

Have you checked youtube? I have found a lot of my machine problem solutions there.

Did you just purchase your Pfaff machine? If so, you should be able to contact or take down to the dealer and they can hopefully help you. I am sure it is just probably a minor fix. It sounds like you have tried everything possible. Sometimes you can google help and that is one way to get your problem fixed. Good luck to you and hopefully someone on here has the same machine as you do and they can help you.

I found the manual online and page 27 of the pdf has what you need. It shows the twin needle setting is in the settings menu.

Michele, I also have the manual though mine looks a bit "older"? Did you mean page 2:7? Nothing about twin needle on that page. I did find something on my page 2:16.But it does no tell how to de-select it!

OOOOH! E-X-Cuse me!!!! One final time with the manual! Found it! Sigh.

Kitsie, the page number I gave was based on the page number of the pdf, not the manual page number. I’m sorry if that was confusing. I’m glad you found what you needed, though!

That is interesting. I just contacted Juki to ask the same question for my DX7. So far, no response. However, while you are OK for straight sewing, there are many stitches you cannot use while on twin needle setting. Good luck!
