That quilt is absolutely stunning. It is a masterpiece. Thank you so much for sharing all the details with us. I can't ever imagine making something that take 8 months & 1,500 hours to complete. What are your plans for it now?

Amazing quilt is correct! What a work of art and heart. I know your heart was tired before it was completed but it must be pounding with pride at the finish. Lovely quilt! As my Mother-in-law would say too pretty to use. I say too pretty to store! Use it! Display it! Enjoy your labor of love!!!

Congratulations on your lovely quilt being done...and 8 months is awesome, considering all the time and work you have put into making it. It would have taken me 8 years.

Please share what plans you have for the quilt now that it's done...will you hang it at your home? Also did you make a label as I am sure this will be an heirloom and treasured forever.

I don't know what the original border is supposed to be, but I love the ribbon wrapping up the quilt. I followed the applique blocks and they are all beautiful. It;s a truly lovely quilt.
