Hello all! I am looking forward to learning from you all. Am pretty new to sewing and got my Janome out in March after having it for 6 years and only using it for hemming and repairs. I started out sewing in my dining room and after acquiring so much fabric and the tools for sewing it was quite a mess, so my husband cleared out space in our storage room and I am now able to store things properly. It is so nice to have things handy. Stay safe and be well.

It's a wonderful thing when we have our own sewing/work space
I have a very tolerant husband and in interest of my health, I went from having everything contained within one very small room to spread through the house so "I can get my steps in". Which I do now.... but the ironing board is a permanent resident of the living room and we don't eat at the table (not that we did before) because it's my cutting/work surface.
Anyway -- happy to have you here.
