For wk 5 I used the second fabric & dark. Looks good.
Got 23/24 blocks made. Finish this and take a nap.
Still can't post picture, computer won't process pictures.

Thank you IceLeopard for another great mystery! This is an interesting block and I really like the quilt. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into your "Insanity quilts". I have saved your clues and will make this once I clear a few other projects off my plate.

I have the tan/brown/yellow one sewn together and sandwiched. Ready to be quilted. I will get the green on done next week since I have it off. Yummy turkey day!

Whoo- Hoo another mystery for January!. That will help take away the guilt of not joining in the BH Mystery. Yes, I am embarrassed to say that I am not joining in the riotous fun but I really am not a fan of small piece quilts. I have done a good number of her early quilts but I am missing the magic in my brain to use those tiny pieces she does so well.

I have been slowly putting together my blocks for this mystery between finishing other projects. Liking the results and when I get a little further into making blocks will post a photo. Perhaps later this week, after the turkey and pie settle. Enjoy your feast no matter who you are celebrating with and even if it is alone. We can still be thankful for all we have!.

Thanks, IceLeopard, for this mystery. I'm with WMUTeach in not feeling quilty about not joining BH this year. I just discovered this thread this a.m. when I was told that my sis-in-law was hauled away vomiting blood in the night. I will need some other focus. The only fabric I will have to hunt for is the gold and I'm sure it's here. Looks very South West. Something a designer whose name I can't come up with right now......phillips ???

Those blocks need to finish at 2 inches. I use the "slightly too big and trim down to size" method, so I cut the squares at 3 inches. You can use whatever method you prefer, of course.
