Bonnie Hunter 2020/2021 Winter Mystery: Grassy Creek
#262
Well, all I am still a lurker. I just cleaned up my quilting room and have a pile of unfinished projects that need to be ticked off my Too Do list. I spent about 20 minutes this morning but I found the directions for Part II all by myself! Whoo Hoo!. Easy to do block or unit or what ever we all them. I will keep lurking and taking notes so I can whizzzzz through this whenever this quilt gets in line with all of the others I want to do.

I’m off and running....the balance is cut and ready.... I’m enjoying this mystery so far... seems kind of tame compared to past mysteries but I shouldn’t jinx it...lol..
Auntjo....really like your colors...very soothing..

SusieQOH, get with it, girl!
auntjo, I'm glad you found us. Your colors are so beautiful!
suern3, I love your honeycomb gold and your grunge.
Teen, very pretty and fresh-looking.
Chomping at the bit but unable to cut, I will have to be patient this week. (thrumming fingers impatiently)

This week’s units are certainly tougher than last week’s and I’ve never made these before. Bonnie’s ruler tool was pretty easy to use and I got 1/3 of the units done tonight. The HSTs only needed dog ears trimmed, but these needed more trimming all around so took much longer.
