I told Janice but wanted to tell all of you I received my blocks and they are fabulous! I'm excited to put together my valentine quilt! I've been busy making memory quilts from T shirts and button down shirts from my boyfriend's father who passed away last February. I'm making 4 of them for his siblings and his mother for Christmas. Nothing like a little sucking up, huh?!!!
Hope you are all well, until next time...

Jayne, be sure to come back with a picture when you get the valentine quilt together.
I have recently finished two memory quilts from clothes, as well. They were a young fireman's clothing and some were knits, some woven button shirts, plus they gave me his jeans, cargo pants and caps! It was challenging to get a little bit of everything in. So glad I have finished that project!!

I want to wish everyone a peaceful and happy holiday season. For any of us suffering the loss of a loved one, including our loss of Jaba, I hope you can feel the love that person had for you, now that they are exploring the great beyond. Quilty hugs to all of you, Juana

Quilts
Here is a pic of my bf, his mom and two sisters with their memory quilts. They loved them. There were definitely some tears but also some good memories of when he had worn the different shirts. I used flannel for the backs and like how soft the turned out.
