I am my own Santa also and I am afraid to look at the credit card amount. I will have to before long.

I wish Santa would drop off a housekeeper and or cook.

These could be considered quilting staff... They do the housework so you can quilt!

For me, it's Accuquilt dies. I have ordered quite a bit due to wonderful sales this month. And since I am getting my first grandchild in January (maybe late December) I needed them. My DH loves that he doesn't have to shop, but doesn't like that it's not a surprise. For me - I am thrilled to get them. Last year it was more hoops for my embroidery machine - and I love it. We exchange lists because when I buy something for someone I want them to eat it, not something I think they might want.

My husband got me a gift certificate for $100 but there was a deal on so he only paid $80. I want to get a wool mat.

Juliasb - so funny!!! I told my husband to surprise me this year for Christmas, but then I saw the Accuquilt sales and said never mind - I just got my gift for you to wrap. He was happy he didn't have to figure out a surprise and I was able to engage in retail therapy which I greatly needed since we will not be with family this Christmas.

I’m pretty sure I don’t need anything for Christmas...DH and I usually swap a few stocking stuffers and set a limit on spending so not to get carried away.

I need a 2nd sewing machine and have searched for a pretty basic model. I have already replaced the feeder dog on my H. Viking. My husband ordered the Baby Lock Zeal last week when we found 40% off. I am so excited.
