We paid college costs for our kids and when the last one graduated I realized I could buy myself most anything for Christmas and still be saving money. So now when I buy a gift for someone I buy myself one too. Perspective is all it takes. LOL

I was at a local quilt shop and saw a very pretty quilt. It's called Silent Night by Margot Languedoc of The Pattern Basket. It is a new pattern, and she has other fun ones too!
That quilt was offered as a kit! Fabrics are by Tilda. Soft colors. Very pretty! (sorry, no picture-I don't know how...)
Fabrics are: Tilda Quilt Collection-Maple Farm Collection-www.tildasworld.com
Merry Christmas to me!

This is not a Christmas present, it is a birthday present, which is Dec. 25, so I was looking and found some "Groovy Boards" for my quilting frame. So I had him order a set for me. They are on Etsy at Groovy Patterns. Can't wait to get them.

I was looking at 2nd, HEAVY DUTY machine to use for jeans and leather. Janome had one that was on sale and also had the free motion additional feet paackage for $399 . PERFECT for bags and purses. ...it sews through 8 layers of denim. I ordered it, arrived in two days.....put it under the tree. Merry Christmas to me. Hubby is getting me some leather for straps and purses. Fun sewing and crafting time ahead.
