December Secret Pals - Sign up by Midnight November 30
#21
Anyone willing to be a Secret Pal Angel? I normally do it but cannot this month with work being crazy building the budget for 2021-22.
Please let me know. We have a swapper that is missing in action.

Thank you everyone for the offer to be an angel. Quiltingdragon was so gracious to step in. Thank you so much.
I am going to put together next month now. I am certainly hoping for a better month. Between this swap and the ornament swap, it was a rough month.

Thank you!!
I received my secret pal package last night from my quilt angel quilt dragon Becky :-) I have already read some of the stories in the quilt book and they have provided me with the inspiration for my round robin center block. I have the Christmas hand towel hanging up and am so grateful! I love the little thread cutter, I’ve not seen one before and it will surely help with the Merry Mayhem project. And the kitty fabric is great. Hugs and thanks!!

Reba!
Hi Guys,
Well, what can I say!!!!! REBA... what did you do!
Seriously, last month I had Rebaquilts as my person and I sent her what was a pretty average package (I just sent things I thought she would like as I always try to do).... nothing special! I just think it just landed on her mat at a really sad and hard time for her.... so it cheered her a little...... which is the main reason we all take part in this swap, to send a little cheer to our quilting friends! Well Reba got me this month and she maxed out - seriously. Firstly the package came so beautifully encased in the most wonderful box which I will love and put to the best use..... then inside! There was three (yes three) jelly rolls in the richest warmest colours, needles and a needle puller.... JELLY BEANS including a special Christmas Edition box (which some of of you may know are my absolute favourite (even though they now stick to my teeth), a wool works magazine, three books (1 Kim Diehl - whom I love, 1 wool minis and the Kansas Troubles book) now I don't know how she would know but I have coveted the KT book for a while, a peppermint chocolate bomb (which won't last past this evening) and a beautiful card with Westies on it (I have a Westie who rules the house)!
But my favourite thing that Reba sent was a beautifully had crochet scarf... such rich and warm colours and beautifully warm... just the most perfect thing for the British winter which is well and truly here.
Reba, it was such a beautiful and thoughtful package that it touched my soul. Thank you so very much.
Now just three more thoughts for you all!
Firstly, I have made friends on here that astound me with their thoughtfulness and generosity..... and I am so thankful for you. You are all so kind and I am always amazed at the thought you all put into the gifts you send... and they really do cheer me, especially at this very difficult time!
Secondly, Kathy..... you are amazing to keep this swap going. You have kept us on track through difficult times and Covid. You are just a star and we all thank you for the time you give to organising us and keeping this swap on track and going.
Finally, I just want to say to you all..... I know Christmas is going to be very different for some of us this year, but I wish you all a kind, caring, thoughtful and wonderful Christmas... and may 2021 bring us peace and harmony, a respite from all our troubles and some love!
Hugs
Caroline
