It can be intimidating at first. I figure it will take me several attempts before I feel comfortable making it.

I am so glad that you posted this. I just ordered an Accuquilt and while waiting for it to be delivered, I went down the rabbit hole of looking at all the dies, This one really stood out to me and caught my eye. So now it is on my list to purchase down the road. It is nice to see it completed - you did a great job!

Quiltwoman44 - thanks for the link - just went there and saved the instructions, although I’ll be using the Accuquilt die instead of the templates. The colors don’t suit me as I prefer something with shades of purple - and some zing! But it still is a very nice quilt.

This quilt is #1 on my bucket list and has been for years. I would have to do it from templates, as I don't have a die cutter.

If you really want some inspiration, search it on Google images. Just gorgeous quilts made with this pattern.

Looking forward to seeing your results!

Watson

You are braver than I to do this from templates. I looked at the pattern listed above and it is beautiful a definite inspiration on what can be done with some exciting colors.. I have just cut the second block and getting ready to put it together. I have to follow the instructions very closely since I done have it committed to my memory. If and when you do this from templates I will be your first follower.
