Default Last ones (so far) of my pouches

Well my Christmas sewing has been stopped dead in it’s track 😩😩😩 That’s how quick something can happen nobody even dreamed of 😳
Lost sight in my left eye 2 weeks before Christmas due to the retina detaching itself 😱 In the meantime had emergency surgery and I’m back home but with a very blurry sight 🥺 so now it means keeping quiet and being patient and hoping and praying my sight gets back to normal soon 🤩 When I’m not too tired I still love seeing all your projects and I sure hope I can show you some of mine again soon 😁
You all have a very happy and healthy New Year 😍😍😍
Well these were the last pouches i made before my mishap, the ladies at church will get them as a new year’s gift as i haven’t been able to go back since my sight is still too blurry 🙁 I also added a little prayer pocket quilt in each of them (haven’t made pictures of them yet) 😉 The last pouch is for our youngest one at church, 4 year old Ivy ❤️

Very sweet gifts - I’m sure your ladies will appreciate them.

I hope you make a full recovery on your retina. I’ve known a couple of people who had that and were able to make it back to full sight!

Scary about your retina. Hope you get clear vision back Quickly!

The pouches are adorable! How many have you made altogether?

How is it decided who gets which one?

Probably I would have made abt 30 so far 😉 and i usually have someone in mind when preparing them, going from what i know abt the person (colour preferences- i watch what sort of colour they tend to wear - if they’re older or young - modern taste or more classical, etc.) 😁

Your pouches are wonderful! But I'm so sorry to hear about your eye. I hope the retina heals and you can get back to sewing and quilting!

So sorry to hear about the retina incident and pray for a full recovery. Your bags will give the ladies a piece of your love and is such a nice and thoughtful gesture. I, too, give little prayer quilts to my friends and insert them in sympathy cards or notes.
