I have one and I put an old bra on it and stuffed it where it needed it. I also used batting scraps and put them where necessary, on the belly area and hips. I then put an old tank top on it, I really didn't want to see my shape with only a bra.

Thanks for the thread. I've often thought of getting one. Since I don't go anywhere, there is no need to dress up and look descent. I am reassured if others are lumpy.

I gave my dress form away several years ago since I was not using it much anymore and it was collecting dust. When I shifted to quilting I do very little garment sewing anymore. I had a taker for it right away so it went to a good home.

what a glorious reason to be doing alterations! Congrats! (and have to say I'm jealous even though I'm too lazy to do anything about my weight!)

Well, "she" arrived yesterday. Later today I will do some of the adjustments to make her as close to a clone as I can.

Look for photos maybe later today or tomorrow.

Congratulations on your new figure. I bought a dress form about 20 years ago when I still sewed garments. She stands in the corner of my sewing room now and I hang my sweater around her shoulders when it gets hot in there!
