    Default red cat quilt

I just finished this cat quilt. One of my quilter friends was downsizing her stash and gave me a panel and lots of related fat quarters. She told me she knew I would put the fabric to good use, as we are both cat lovers. It took me forever to come up with an idea. Finally I asked my expert quilter sister for ideas. I liked what she suggested and went to work. When I had the top finished, I couldn't figure out how to quilt it, as I normally SITD, and nothing I tried looked good. I tore out my quilting twice. My sister again came to the rescue and quilted it for me on her long arm.

I think it turned out quite cute, despite about a million mistakes I made while making it.

    Thanks for looking.

    Dina

I too am a cat lover and your quilt is beautiful! What a great way to use a panel! The red makes the cat blocks pop!
