I got about 1/2 of the quilt basted yesterday. I'm going to visit my sister this evening, but will not have it basted enough to take it with me to show her. She has not seen the top in person yet. She told me last night on the phone to take my time because she doesn't expect to receive the finished product until next Christmas. She's a good sister. :lol:

Oh my goodness! This is GORGEOUS! Hubby said, thats nice, it would look nice on our bed, can you do something like that? HAA HAA HAAA, he has nice confidence in me! whew, but i may give something like that a try, the colors are LOVELY! LOVE IT great job!

Thanks. I finished the quilting and binding on 3/1/10. Only 3 months after Christmas. Like I said, my sister wasn't expecting it to be finished until next Christmas. She's excited, but still hasn't seen it. I told her that I'm holding it hostage until she comes for a visit. I'm also going to hold on to it until I show it in my first quilt show in April. I've never even BEEN to a quilt show and I'm showing one of mine? :roll: I'm really stepping outside my box now.
