Macybaby, thanks so much for explaining, and for the photo! I see what you mean.

QuiltingVagabond, your quilt is beautiful. The touch of blue was a great choice. I'm really loving the GCs that have some blue in them.

No sashing today. My blocks are going together well.

All done. I am very pleased with it! Only made half the blocks, and it is 86”x64”! Looking forward to seeing everyone’s completed quilts!

I'm still working on this in my colors. I'm now up to 6 x 6 blocks - those are done, started working on the lt. blue sashing - (which I will have to go buy some more fabrics to finish). But liking it so far. I'm still thinking I will use Bonnie's original idea of the grey strip sashing. Running out of fabrics for a king size tho from what I started with out of my stash. Will have to buy more - tho made it this far from my stash mostly.
