Your third photo is the one I'm in love with...the block size and placement along with the colors are perfect for a little boy to nap or play on. Can I ask what pattern you used? I'd love to add this pattern to my Project Linus projects.

Wonderful quilts for the baby and Fred! I love that zig-zag for a baby. Those bright colors and angles will be fun for him/her.

Terrific quilts. Grandson and neighbor's baby are so very fortunate to receive these beautiful quilts.

The pattern I used was from a class I took from Nancy Chong a couple of years ago. It is her revision of a pattern by Karen Sue Hoskins that she received approval to tweek. Here's the link to the original pattern - https://laughingcatdesignsetc.com/co...-quilt-pattern. I have never seen the original pattern but Nancy's is based on using a theme to base quilt on, in this case the Super Fred fabric line. If you are interested in Nancy's version you can contact her at [email protected], if you visit her webpage you will note she is known for her needle turn applique and Hawaiian quilting and the Crumb quilt isn't listed, Nancy taught us in a class at LQS and said it is the only pieced quilt pattern she makes anymore.

Attached is photo of my quilt based on Laurel Burch Holiday line of fabrics.

Both quilts are fabulous...I love the bright colors in the chevron quilt. I have used that same pattern for a couple of crib quilts it goes together nicely.

Your grandson is going to love his quilt, also a great choice of fun fabrics for a three year old. Great finishes!
