Default Jelly roll rug

I just wanted to tell you if you do not want a jelly roll for the rug, I cut WOF 13 2 1/2 strips of 3 colors and that will make a rug with the 50 yards of 2 1/2 batting. I cut 13 strips of each color for this rug. Thanks for looking! This is for a Birthday gift.

How nice!

I haven't tried one of these, because it seems like the prints in the jelly roll would be wasted.

Your way avoids that and you were able to coordinate with a room's color scheme - good job!

very nice and thank you for the info--I bought yardage and will make one of the rectangle ones--too chicken to try to get the oval ones to lay flat!

Great job. It lays flat! I also cut my own strips. I used indoor/outdoor fabric on my second one because I thought the cotton rug would wear quickly when used. (Also, hasn't faded at all).

Suz, that's a nice rug! I really like it in solids. Someone is going to be happy to get it.

This is so nice. Lovely and very warm colors. I have always thought about making a rug but then chicken out.
