Default Hi From UK

Its sunny today....and were allowed to go outside, (never thought id actually think about such a trivial thing....wow how times change !).

Saying that I'd much rather be inside with my new 411G .

So quick visit to doctors and ask for a jab (and if shops were allowed to open, some machine oil).....back soon.

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan USA. I just got my second jab on Saturday. Another 2 weeks before I can visit with famil safely. It is good to have you join us. We have a good number of folks from outside the USA on this board. Jump right in and join the fun.

Hello and welcome! I have a 319G treadle - when I was collecting, I was always looking for a 411G but they're pretty scarce this side of the pond.

Welcome from sunny Southern California! I learned to sew on my grandmother's treadle. I'll look forward to your posts.

Thanks for the warm welcome......better than the doctors office, wouldn't give me the jab...."you'll receive a text, THEN you can contact us and not before".

So as usual I did this all back-to-front.....wrote my question about my " 411G", then as I was logging off, noticed the "Introduce Yourself" so came here to say Hi.

So in the back-to-front honour, I've been directed to download a very large pdf, and have been trying to read it all before getting back to y'all, but its so large I don't think I'm going to get through it all before bedtime.....but couldn't keep you all waiting . after such a warm welcome phew !

Having only read 48 of the 52 pages (and not tried out the instructions) I am happy to say I suspect "Ourworkbench (Janey & John) " might have given me the answer already.....before I managed to say "Hello".

So with that in mind......I'll wish you good night (Drum roll- Tadarrr !)

Ha. you may be lucky that your Doctor can give the jabs. They won't do that here. i finally got one shot but waited in traffic and in my car 3 hours. At least it wasn't 8 like some people did. dread the next time!
