glue problem

Default glue problem

my can of adhesive spray was running empty and I got a splot on the quilt border. it has not yet washed out any suggestions others have tried.

Those splots happen. Sometimes they come out when the entire quilt is washed. I always wash my quilts before giving them away. I think it can also be the chemical use to make the adhesive and they have taken the color out. If it's truly terrible, You could applique over it.

I did check the web site is said if it does not wash out I can have it dry cleaned

Did you use basting spray? Basting spray has always washed out for me, even the blobs. What brand did you use?

After you wash it if it has not come out try Murphy's Oil soap on it. That has worked for me. But please always check with the manufacture first.
