    Default Sunflower Dresden Quilt

My second quilt with applique and I think it turned out pretty nice, I'm very happy with it. I will definitely make another one down the road, such a great block. I gave it to my friend today and she absolutely loved it. She told me she wanted bright colours and I know she loves gardening so I decided that sunflowers would be nice - turns out yellow is her favourite colour, who knew?

You picked a great color combination for this dresden block to achieve a gorgeous sunflower. No wonder your friend loved it.

Very pretty. Sunflowers are always happy looking. I have a Granddaughter who loves sunflowers. They were the theme at their wedding.
