I love how this quilt turned out. It is a twin size quilt. I made this quilt for a foster program for teenagers who will be soon released from foster care. That is a lovely quilt. Have you worked with the foster program a while? Are you able to find out what the young adults like before you make the quilt for them?

Very pretty quilt. The kids should love it. I also make quilts for foster kids in my county. I make whatever I like and I assume the foster Mother picks them out for her kids.

Thank you, I was at one time a foster parent. So I know what these teenagers go thru. They can be pulled out of a home and placed somewhere else at a moments notice. Quilts Beyond Borders supplies quilts to Comfort Cases, it is a program that supplies a back pack, quilt, change of clothes and personal items. This then belongs to the foster child. As far as any information on what they like, I just go with my gut instinct and try to stick to colors and design that are not gender specific. i think this quilt will work for a girl or boy.
