What a good use for your scraps! i've just finished a couple scrap projects and even though I did finish up some small pieces of fabric, I can't say that mine has gotten any smaller either lol

Daffy, is there a tutorial showing that method of sewing jeans with no seams? I have never heard of it, but a great idea. I have boxes of jeans I need to do something with. I like your idea.

Cathy46, I don't know of a tutorial. I just remember seeing, years ago, a stadium quilt someone had made with this method and she briefly described it. It really is easy.

Thank you for your explanation of the no bulk seams. Adding the picture really helped. And thank you so much for providing these to the animal shelters.

    Oh, I love this idea!

We've adopted cats from the local shelter, which is currently expanding its dog area. I have some cut up jeans... The wheels are turning! I think I'll contact them to see whether they would take these, for use while there or to go home when the dogs get a permanent home.

Thanks for the idea, and for helping make those cats and dogs in your shelter more comfortable.

Well, I just have to show you my best friend, who came home with me from the shelter almost two years ago. One of the best decisions I ever made.
