Default Hi everyone

Hi all
I'm happy to be here. Have quilted on and off for a number of years but continue learning. I've found discussions here a number of times when googling, so glad to see it still active and able to join.

Welcome aboard and out of lurking.

Waving from the Seattle region, where I listen to audio books while quilting.

Hi! I'm new too but don't know how to introduce myself except by replying to you. I wonder if anyone has ever messed up a binding so badly that they didn't tear it out but just covered it with a second binding?

Welcome from sunny Southern California where I'm still learning after many years. Love classes! Have you joined a quilt guild? You can learn lots there, too, and make sewing friends.

Nicsmom15, there is a red bar New Thread button above and below the posting area. You deserve a post/thread of your own so first welcome and second, for your question -- I'm sure someone has!

I've had to rebind many quilts due to age or other issues. Depending on what the issues are/were, if I really hated my binding I'd be more likely to take it out or by cutting off most of it and simply putting a new one one. but I have covered over worn bindings with fresh. While they rarely get fully attached, I'm sort of notorious for changing the size or fabric or something on my borders and bindings at the very last minute.
