Do you have a Linus Group near you? The group near me takes donated fabric.

    Hi Lynn Z,
I'm so sorry that your illness is affecting your quilting.

I make quilts for an organization called Quilts for Kids here in California.
It's a national Nonprofit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of children who suffer from abuse or life-threatening illnesses.
There is a chapter in Portland, OR and also one in Sisters, OR and I'm sure they would put your fabric to good use.

I know, it's not right next door but I'd think worth the drive if you all could get the coordination done.

edit/ps: I miss Daisy Kingdom! And the huge place that closed... Also, there was a used book store I think that made the day trip to Portland a full shopping day
    Okay...thanks.

I would try and contact quilt guilds in your area. I belong to a guild here in New England. While we have only met twice in person outside since this pandemic started we do meet via zoom and are still doing Charity quilts. Perhaps you can find a still active guild near you that would be tickled to help you out with the stash.
our church quilters took a little break but have been meeting faithfully since April. We are a small group but just donated over 100 quilts of various sizes to local places. One lady sewed 24 tops at home & another tied almost 20 while on the break.

I made 70 quilts for a local safe house so mostly not kids fabric. I had a good group but haven't come back since the pandemic started.
