Hi, and welcome from far West Tx. Pecos, Tx.I am also rather new to this site but love it so far. There are so many interesting quilters with suggestions, patterns, new sites to check out etc. Everyone is so friendly and helpful with any question it seems. I really think that all quilters I have met are a special and unique group of helpful, friendly and generous people with a lot of love to share with all. There have been some fantastic and beautiful quilts shown on this site. Gerbie

Welcome, and I am new to this site too. As well as new to Texas. And it is only cold here for a short time!! I grew up where we joked about our winters being 9 months long!! And with lots of snow (3 - 5 feet of it for the winter). So, I am enjoying Texas.
I have been quilting for only a couple of years, so I am still learning some of the tricks too.
Again welcome, and keep up the hand quilting - it is a dying art.
