I am a member of a great guild and am currently working on many projects...like any other quilter...lol My baby is the hand cut(before I knew what a rotary cutter was...lol) hand pieced(before I had a machine) and am hand quilting it. It's beautiful...Anyway, I am glad to have found this and look forward to meeting and learning from some great quilters and making some new friends...you can never have to many of either of those...LOL
Hi Kristy, I'm in Sherman also. I've pm'd with Tracy before. This is a good site, think you will like it.

Hi, and welcome from far West Tx. Pecos, Tx.I am also rather new to this site but love it so far. There are so many interesting quilters with suggestions, patterns, new sites to check out etc. Everyone is so friendly and helpful with any question it seems. I really think that all quilters I have met are a special and unique group of helpful, friendly and generous people with a lot of love to share with all. There have been some fantastic and beautiful quilts shown on this site. Gerbie

Welcome, and I am new to this site too. As well as new to Texas. And it is only cold here for a short time!! I grew up where we joked about our winters being 9 months long!! And with lots of snow (3 - 5 feet of it for the winter). So, I am enjoying Texas.
I have been quilting for only a couple of years, so I am still learning some of the tricks too.
Again welcome, and keep up the hand quilting - it is a dying art.

Hope you enjoyed this year's snow as it probably won't happen again for a long time. Hand quilting is nice. I can't do it because I had carpal tunnel.
