A Quilting Life has a free one, Fat Quarter Shop has "free" one with encouragement to donate to good cause, Piecing the Past has several throughout the year, Pumpkin Patch has a rabbit themed one, Sentimental Stitches has a great pieced one with one time fee. Will post more as I see them. Enjoy!

I'm not a traditional quilter. More modern to art. I'm thinking I might try designing a block of the month. Has anyone tried this?

I haven't tried that but since my style is anything and everything if you decide to design a modern/art quilt I'd love to play along. Either way, have fun!

Addition to my last post..... Quilt Doodles BOM, Suzy's Sitcom has several throughout the year, mostly applique. Calico Patch usually has a few very nice wool applique blocks going on during year, free and purchased. Tuning my Heart, APQ, and Buttermilk Basin always has wonderful ones free and purchased.

Lena, thank you for the support. I've been giving it more thought.

I've always appreciated the Canadian Quilter's Associations project even though I haven't actually made any myself. One of my Tuesday ladies has done the last couple of years...

They mostly go through Facebook, this link has

JenniePenny, I’m doing the Quiltmaker Mystery too. Since I happen to have 2 granddaughters, I’m making 2 (I know a bit crazy). Almost finished the purples, just need to get the pinwheels done.

I'm doing the Quiltmaker mystery, too. So nice to see your pictures, Sync and JennieP. Mine are all cut out and hope to put them together today. I'm using scraps in various colors. Fingers crossed that it will look cohesive in the end.
