Here is CJoyce's fall quilt. Over 30 hours of work but I have it done. The quilt is a monster at 84x84. I could not get a picture of the whole quilt so I took it in two. Hope you like it. The pictures do not do it justice.

OH, my goodness. It is gorgeous beyond words! I wanted a fall quilt for the back of my sofa - it's a good thing that my sofa is 93", but now it definitely has to be displayed on top of a bed to be admired and petted lovingly. I can't say enough "Thank Yous" to everyone who has added to the humble beginnings of a pumpkin. It has evolved into an heirloom quilt to be cherished forever. Our youngest daughter loves the fall season and has already called dibs.

Default Sneak peek for turtles

Hi al, once again I drastically underestimated the time it will take to finish this last border, BUT I got a good start. I’m attaching a sneak peek.

Also, have any of you heard of the needle lady? Holy cannoli, I discovered her side threading needles at Shipshewanna, Yoder’s had a pack and I bought them. They are the cats meow, the bomb, a lifesaver. I have been using the embroidery side threading needle for the turtles and find I have absolutely zero downtime to thread the needle with the embroidery floss. Seriously, I am ordering more and will NEVER use another kind of hand sewing needle again. Why haven’t I heard of these? I’ve been sewing for 45 years and no one ever told me about these. Good lord they are unbelievably easy to use. Hugs all!!

The final border for the turtle quilt is really stunning hand embroidery. Can't wait to see a picture of the finished quilt.

My Fall quilt arrived yesterday and is it ever gorgeous in person. Every round is perfect. It's larger than I originally imagined but I wouldn't change a thing. You quilters are the BEST! Thank You.

Talking Flamingoes flying home to Kathy.

Have4boys, Kathy's, flamingo quilt is completed and will be winging its way back home. I added a flock of flying geese made of mostly flamingo fabrics. I think it is 82x82 and tried to get a picture as good as possible so took it outside to layout. Almost a 100 geese.
