Beautiful quilt! You got to practice your FMQ at the same time... And don't worry about your back. Mine always look like that. It's a great way to use up smaller pieces of fabric and batting. Congrats on your first! I'm sure it won't be your last.

Fantastic quilt, I love the fabrics you used for the blocks and your quilting design is and excellent accent for the blocks. Well done!

That quilt is stunning! Some day I'm going to make a QAYG. I love that you quilted each block different. Once I made a little "practice" place mat the QAYG method by Leah Day & it turned out cute & easy. By the way, if you are looking for FMQ designs, she has lots at the link below. She has a book out but also a video on how she does each one. Just scroll down to see the videos. Hope it gives you some ideas for your next quilt.
