I just looked at the pattern and your quilt is a true labor of love. Woozers. Love those kitties.

What a soft and beautiful quilt for your granddaughter. The colors you used and their placement is purrfect, and I can't believe you appliqued with Minkee. Just stunning!

summitbay- I downloaded the pattern. It says "challenging". Was it? I'd love to make it for my 2 yr.old granddaughter.

Thank-you everyone for your kind thoughts.
SusieQOH, I like the challenge of precision piecing and figuring out how to make a block. It takes me usually several blocks to understand the instructions and carry them out correctly. The hardest part with this pattern was the tail and bird part. Not exactly hard, but small pieces. So to get it all to fit together the scant 1/4" was very important. You might commit to the pillow and see if you enjoy it. I am not fast in any part of quilting, so I just accepted that this was going to be a marathon and not a sprint. Feels good to be this far. I like Tilda fabrics and the whimsy of her patterns. I purchased the windy day kit, but not going to start it any time soon.

Thanks for the input, summitbay. I was thinking of doing the pillow first. You read my mind

Great work. So cute! My sister asked for a cat themed quilt for a new great granddaughter on the way. I’’m going to check out the pattern. So clever to use minky fabric for the cheeks.
