Beautiful sampler, Gannyrosie. I have a weakness for sampler quilts. I love making them!

GannyRosie - lots of work, but worth it! What a special quilt.

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We were gone all last week (went to where the sun shines!) so our Valentine's Day was just getting back into the routine of things. After getting caught up at work I am looking forward to working on my quilting projects - I have a signature quilt to finish by April!

I spend today sorting candies by color. I am surprised how many low volume/neutral candies I have and I now want to make a low volume quilt. Has anyone made one with candies and would share pictures with us?

I have quite a few, too. It's because I always take the brighter colors when choosing for a quilt.

One of the quilts my friend Givio sent me to finish for her sister is a huge (king size) candy square quilt. The way she arranged them makes an Irish Chain pattern with the neutrals in the centers. It practically GLOWS. So pretty. She had asked me to take a picture of it and post it here... made with y'all's candies plus many others. Maybe I'll get the picture before I quilt it, so you can see what I'm talking about.

NZQ, here's another quilt with great use of low volume pieces. I just love this!

I would love to see the one Givio made, SBG. She made such beautiful quilts!

I went looking through Quilted Twins free patterns and I found this one that uses low volume fabrics. https://media.rainpos.com/10507/fieldofwonkystars.pdf . Quilted Twins never disappoint me! It has the low volume, but also the pop of color I love.

I am looking forward to seeing what the candy stash will be like this year.
