Love the fabric choices for your tumbler. Well done!

Great quilt toogie. I am using your photo for inspiration…I just purchased and AccuQuilt in January and cut out a bunch of tumbler pieces last night. I believe it was petthefabric who shared on another post that she uses them for an ender/leader project.

Question…Will you leave the uneven sides as they are or will you cut them straight?

I will trim them straight. I still have to quilt it so I may leave them on until the quilting is done. I don’t know if I’ll do my normal free motion stipple or try doing some waves across. I am so comfortable doing the stipple that it goes pretty fast, however I know I need to try something different. I don’t have a wave ruler so I’m kinda uneasy. I need the practice but I don’t want to ruin the top.

Toogie, your tumbler quilt inspired me to unbox my new AccuQuilt cutter. I used a charm pack so I didn’t have duplicates to construct the pattern you posted (which I actually like better) but this will be a charity quilt. I was going to use the tumbler pieces as leader/Enders as Retired Teacher had posted but I got antsy and just kept sewing. I haven’t decided how to quilt it yet but look forward to seeing yours.

I have the tumbler die for my AccuQuilt and am in the process of cutting scraps and piecing. I’m just doing completely random, because I call it one of my “lazy quilts.” I never saw this way before. I like it! Thanks for sharing and for the explanation!

I love the bright colors and the placement of the tumbler blocks is great. Thanks for sharing.
