Harriet's Journey BOM

Thank everyone for your kind compliments.
I still haven't touched my Farmer's Wife but the box holding the finished blocks has moved out of the depths of the closet and into the shadows of my sewing table. Progress.

Wow, Dotty, what a treat to see all of your beautiful blocks together. Your quilt is gorgeous! You did such a great job of choosing your fabrics.
I am currently constructing my Harriet sashing as leaders/enders while I finish up the Bonnie Hunter mystery. And I still have to finish the two outstanding applique blocks, so it will be a while before I post my top. Doing this sampler has increased my piecing confidence and taught me so much. Thank you for leading us on this journey!

Dotty, what a lovely use of colors, more modern colors with the traditional blocks of this HUGE sampler. I haven't touched my Farmer's Wife and Amazon keeps sending me reminders to purchase the Sylvia's Bridal Quilt Book which I already have. It will stay on the shelf until FW gets out of the box and finished. Love to see folks pictures even if they are not finishes but just progress.

Here's a photo I took of my blocks on the wall in Dec. (minus the two outstanding applique blocks), before I covered them up to work on the BH mystery. I'm sure I had a photo with the toile I'm using for a border, but I must have deleted it. It's amazing how motivating those little blocks were (sashing less so, ha!).
I changed the position of I think 3 of the blocks, to keep like colors apart.

Dotty, your quilt turned out great! I like the thin blue line of sashing and the way you did the corners. Bravo! And JoesMom, your soft colors are looking very pretty. Can't wait to see both quilts quilted and finished! Thanks for leading us through the process of making this lovely quilt, Dotty!
