Wish I had seen this yesterday as I was in a resale shop and there sat a drying rack ... never thought about using one in the sewing room before. Well, Walmart is closer to me, and I know they have them!! ,Maybe I'll go shopping today...LOL

I soak all my fabrics in a dishpan tub and then run them thru my old fashion wringer and then hang them up to dry so I don't have to squeeze the excess starch out of them and make even more wrinkles to press out.

Has anyone ever watched Kimberly Jolly video on how she starches. It’s pretty amazing and YIKES!
She used cans of starch and saturated front and back both. Hang to dry
Of course, maybe that is why her quilts always look so amazing!!!!
Sometimes I have starched, and I am sure I will again, but I am with you ONEBYONE. I would never get to the sewing portion!
