I don't have photos, I have given them away as quilter's prizes. But I made rope clothesline baskets with them.

Some really neat ideas as to what to do with the selvages. I do save mine and use them for ties when I need to secure a box or bag but that doesn't use many. Also use them in my garden to tie tomato plants to a stake. Now you've given me more ideas.

I've been saving them to make a library quilt but then Sweet Pea Embroidery came out with one of their own patterns so now I don't really need them. I don't have a whole lot of them anyway.

I have used them to crochet mug rugs/ coasters/dollhouse rugs and hot mats. Also the string quilt in my avatar uses selvage-size strips. I don't do any of that any more.

I wish I had saved mine after seeing what you can do with them.

I made some purses out of the salvages. There is no paper clip or I would show a picture. How do you do the picture when no paper clip?

After seeing my first selvage quilt in a show I became addicted to saving them. I now have several large bags waiting to be used. I've already made a lap quilt and a few table toppers. Unfortunately I don't know how to post pictures Here are two articles I have bookmarked, one just a picture and the other a delightful thread right here on the Quilting Board, posted by Lynnie25. Her imagination in what she's put togethr awes me (maybe she's reading this? If so, I LOVE your work). Warning - once you've started collecting them it becomes addictive/,

Hit the “go advanced” below your reply to get the paper clip and/or the “manage attachments” option.

Love to see what you did with the selvages.
