Default Quilt for Toddler Big Brother

Another baby quilt finished thanks to skills from FMQA (and HollyAnne Knight’s ruler class). I used Natalia Bonner’s 4 n 1 ruler, Angela Walter’s Squiggy and the Bernina echo clip. The pattern is from Quilting Outside the Box by Eleanor Burns for Accuquilt. Finished size is about 48 x 60. Loved using the Squiggy for the Serpentine border. First time piecing a diagonal backing based on John Flynn’s instruction. Not only did it use the fabric efficiently but I was able to more or less match the pattern.

Love the little fuzzy cuts in the center of the stars! A good blend of modern and traditional and it is just right for a special little guy.
