I wasn’t planning on having to fussy cut those centers, but the pattern was interspersed with so much white space on the otherwise perfect fabric that fussy cutting was necessary. Glad there were only 12 centers! I used Accuquilt dies, which are not great for fussy cutting.

Both this quilt and the one for his sister (Baby Quilt from Bonnie Hunter pattern) have been gifted. He loved them both, demanding that both Mom and Dad give him hugs while wrapped in his new blanket! His newborn sister slept through it all!

What a wonderful quilt you made. Everything about it is so well thought out. Beautifully executed and so darned adorable! What a labor of love! I love thise fussy cut centers and so worth that extra effort!
