Default Scraps ended up in Diamond Trip

After first Bargello I had several strips left over. I cut them into 6" to make a braided border/quilt, but didn't like the way the braid was turning out. So I placed it on the design wall to marinate on it. After I watched Donna Jordan Diamond Trip video, I went searching for those scraps. I like controlled scrappy!

Love it. Watched the video made for this pattern and have it downloaded for the next scrappy or jellyroll quilt I want to do.

I like controlled scrappy too, so great job on the revised quilt top. Very nice.

Great job!! This doesn't look "scrappy" to me - looks artfully designed. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I watched the same video. You did a beautiful job with your scraps. I like your version much better than the braided one you started.

I am amazed at how pretty that turned out to be. I didn't care for the braid at all. Love your final quilt.
