Here is my first UFO for May. Done and done! I started it in mid-January, finished in mid-February and it sat, and sat and sat with other projects piling up on top of it. Earlier this month I did a swish through my sewing room and put all UFOs and WIPS in one big bin, it was a mountain to say the least. Several only need binding. I started with the easiest. Binding on.

More to come since I am "In the Mood" to climb the mountain of started but not yet finished quilt projects.

Finally finished another ufo- this lone star has been sitting around for a couple years- thought I would turn it into a big- bed sized quilt. Finally decided a wallhanging would be just fine- just get it done.
live found many people seem to like/ prefer wallhangings ( I never realized that before)
now I’m looking at some of those ufos with new eyes .

UFO Number 2 for May. I am trying to catch up on my one a month goal.

All fabric even the back came from stash. I started it last fall then it went into the bin of unfinished projects while I moved on to holiday quilts and gifts. Now it is is ready to go to Project Linus.

WMUT and CKCowl, your finishes have brought me such joy in seeing them and have inspired me to pull out some of my UFO's and work on them. Much success to the both of you and continued will to complete more.

Have a good sew day--cherrybsixty

Lovely finishes, WMUTeach and ckcowl! I am rooting for you, WMU, as you climb that mountain.

ckcowl, I didn't realize that either, about wall hangings. One of my quilting books recommends putting a hanging sleeve on every quilt, just in case someone has a bare wall to cover.

Three cheers for you, Ckcowl. Those pieces that we are not entranced with are so hard to finish. But you did it, Yippie!!
