Default June Secret Pal Swap - Sign-ups close May 30 midnight - Come join the fun!

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, thin, or stained fabric or obviously used items that should be put in the trash. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by June 20, 2022, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by June 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not sign up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

You must have a phone # or email to sign up

Please fill out the questionnaire below and Private Message me your info by midnight May 30 to join the swap.

Sign Ups will close May 30 at midnight PST and names will be sent out no later than June 2nd (Usually the first, but like to give myself some leeway).

Have fun and be creative!

Okay, got the names out. Thank you all for participating. I really enjoy hosting this shop, even when my life is going haywire. I keep telling myself, "This will pass. It is only for a season."

My mom has a one-time radiation to the tumor in her brain today. Sure wish we did not have to do this, but making the best of a bad situation.

Have a great day,

Kathy

I was thinking the same, it is quiet. We already went camping with the girls on the beach. Soon one of my adult daughters and 2 sons will visit from out of state. All at different times. I am not doing as much quilting as I had anticipated. My 2 youngest had a lot of programs coming to an end for the summer break and they have several older friends graduating high school. Busy but fun. I am waiting to hear if my package arrived at my secret pal.

Default I was just blown away...

I received a gigantic package from BrendaK today:

Dog treats
So many fabrics
Cookies
Patterns with rulers, at least 4
A book
Numerous great patterns
gloves
Tools
2.5 strip roll with great colors
2 books I haven't read!
And in that cute case: threads, cutter blades, fingertip protectors, machine needles, sewing needles, cutters, little patterns, cutie tissues, snag repair needles, tools, double-sided tape, grip dots, and great emery boards!

Take a look at the photos-it was difficult to get everything into 2 photos!

Thank you so very much Brenda! You did a great job!
